Corporate Social Responsibility

The Bank of Yokohama actively promotes “CSR Activities” as cooperation activities with local communities and undertakes social contribution activities, being conscious of its ties with local communities as a regionally based bank.
“CSR Activities” are coordinated and positioned as undertakings predominantly in the field of “Social Contribution Activities” and the Bank develops a wide range of cooperation activities with local communities.
Specifically, the Bank strives to make advancements in the following three areas, 1. Corporate Leadership Activities, 2. Community-Based Volunteer Activities, and 3. Self-Planning Programs. For Self-Planning Programs, the Bank aims at further revitalization and development of the region under the theme of “Children” by developing activities that nurture children who will assume responsibility for the next generation.
